Enrolments for Kindergarten are open from the first week in March.

Interviews are completed by the end of June.

Letters of acceptance are posted in the first week of July.

St Kevin’s allocates five sessions over Terms 3 and 4 for a smooth transition to Kindergarten the following year.

Playdates

Mum and dads need to get to know each other just like the children entering Kindergarten. We have three 1-hour playdate sessions in August each year over a three-week timeframe. At these playdates, mums, dads and grandparents come and have a cuppa while their children play with their new classmates. We learn so much from observing children playing and parents also have the opportunity to relax and make new friends.

Transition Mornings

In mid-November, we have two 1-hour sessions in the Kindergarten classroom where the new students meet their buddies from the senior class who will assist them through their first year at school. Whilst the children are working with their buddies, parents are assisted in how to best meet the needs of their children in preparing them for school.   

A Parent Information Evening is held in late November where uniforms can be purchased, volunteer forms completed, enrolment in after school care is completed and the many questions of parents can be answered.
